Many times we mused on how to dress for the show ring, but seldom about the same thing at the hunting tests. The fact is, that hunters themslves have a sort of dress code, whch differs from country to country but follows some general alinments. Here in the central Europe, it is mainly some kind of green uniform for men, something fitting for a walk in the woods, and somewhat more freestyle (but not as free as like for a night at the opera) for women. And do not forget, in recent years a yellow orange or red detail has become compolsory, an orange berret, say. The colour of the cloth must be such that it emphasizes the dog's colour - complementary or contrasting. For example, a handler of a white dog should wear a dark dress/coat/trousers, and for the black dog, the opposite; for red dog, greenish; for yellow dog, darker green etc. That's all for now. More later.
